The Alabama Hiking Trail Society has announced that author Joe Cuhaj has been tapped as a speaker at their annual statewide hiking and outdoor conference March 27-29, 2020.
The conference features multiple tracks of educational presentations on a wide range of topics dealing with not only hiking and backpacking, but the outdoors and environment as well. The weekend also features hikes, great food, prizes, and plenty of fellowship with like-minded outdoor people.
Joe's presentation is set for 9am on March 28th and while the topic hasn't been firmed up yet, it will most definitely deal with hiking in the state of Alabama. Joe is the author of four Falcon Guides on hiking destinations in the state with a fifth set for release in late 2020. Besides the presentation, he will also be signing copies of his books.
Admission is charged for attending the conference with all proceeds benefiting the Alabama Hiking Trail Society, the statewide volunteer organization that builds and maintains hiking trails across the state.
Additional details about the conference, the speaker schedule and registration information will be available soon on the AHTS website,
